On April 4, 2024, Reslife sent an email to residents of Main Street apartments, Rowe, and Sanborn informing them that no one is allowed to stay in those residence halls.

“The power has not been restored in your residence halls. Unfortunately, the battery power to the fire suppression systems will begin to fail and the buildings will continue to get colder. As a result, you will not be able to stay in the residence halls,” Reslife wrote in an email to those residents.

As a result, Reslife gave the residents four options. They can relocate the resident to a temporary room on campus, the residents can stay with a friend on or off campus, or they can go home.

The residents must click on a link within the email to tell Reslife what option they will choose.
