On Friday, March 29, 2019, graduating CJ senior, Alyssa Tursi, of Long Island, NY, was recognized by the Concord, NH Police Department to appreciate her diligence as an intern for her work in a robbery/stabbing investigation.

During her recent internship at the Concord Police Department, Alyssa was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division where she assisted investigators with the location of key evidence and the establishment of a timeline from video review of the incident.

The efforts of Alyssa Tursi helped to lead CPD detectives to solve this case, resulting in the arrest and conviction of a dangerous offender. It is rare for such recognition by a law enforcement agency to recognize such efforts.

CID Detectives recommended that Alyssa receive this recognition. Alyssa was recognized and presented with an award letter from Chief of Police Brad Osgood during a multi-award ceremony that was very well attended.
