The students choose to take the route on Cannon where the trail gets very steep at a certain point, making it a challenging hike on Friday, September 20th. After about two and a half hours of hiking, they make it to the fire lookout at the top of the trail on Friday, September 20th. The class is overwhelmed with awe at the full 360 view at the top on Cannon on Friday, September 20th. This is a section of the view where you can see many mountains and vast land on Friday, September 20th. The class uses a ladder and helps each other down safely on a steeper section of the trail on Friday, September 20th. After a long day of hiking they stop at one of Professor Viti’s favorite cafes on the way back to NEC on Friday, September 20th.
