During NEC’s spring break the lacrosse, softball, and baseball teams traveled south to Maryland, Florida, and South Carolina to play non-conference games.
The baseball team had 3 wins and had 5 losses in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The team scored forty-eight runs in an 8-game span. Freshman Jaken Pellerin won the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week award.

Graduate student John Cannavo leads the team with a .465 batting average, and junior Yeri Ramos leads the team with 14 runs batted in.
Cannavo emphasized the improvements the team needs to make going into conference play.
“We’re a gritty team, if we play some hard nosed ball and good defense I think we’re gonna be a hard team to beat,” Cannavo said.

The softball team started the season with 14 games in nine days in Florida and won four of the games.
Junior Emma Lopez leads the team with a .444 batting average, and Grace Geisler and Abigail Grimes lead the team with 14 hits each.
The team also has an on-base percentage of .376.
Men’s lacrosse traveled to Baltimore, Maryland for one game against Goucher College. Goucher won 13-6.
Matt Daly and Henri Pfeifle had two goals each, and goalie Logan Stroud had eight saves.

Daly explained how the Maryland trip went for the team.
“The trip was fun, it went well,” Daly said, “We didn’t really show up as a team, but its always fun to be with the guys.”
Women’s lacrosse lost both their games in Florida to Manhattanville University and SUNY Oneonta.
Lucy Armour, Mackenzie McDonald, and Lilli Vaughn each had two goals on the trip.
Goalie Isabella Marzano tallied 10 saves in the two games.
